Jose Mari Chan serenades with ‘love and Christmas’

THE Christmas season is here and it’s the time of the year when one man dominates the holiday playlist.
But this time, he dominated the stage of the LausGroup Event Centre for a one-night exclusive concert entitled “Love and Christmas”.

Ageless and legendary singer-songwriter Jose Mari Chan on Friday serenaded thousands of LausGroup customers as he sings his timeless hits “Constant Change,” “Afterglow,” “Deep In My Heart,” “Afraid For Love To Fade,” “Please Be Careful With My Heart,” “Tell Me Your Name,” and “A Love To Last A Lifetime”.

Aside from love songs that lasted a lifetime, the veteran music icon also delighted fans with his biggest Christmas hits “Christmas in Our Hearts” and “Perfect Christmas” which instantly spread the holiday vibes and cheers in the entire concert venue. Chan also proves that there’s no stopping him even at an advanced age, by singing his new songs from his latest album “Coming Home To Christmas” featuring Christmas songs like “A Child Again This Christmas,” “December 25,” and “Let Love Be Your Gift”.

Chan shared that this is his second time to sing for the LausGroup’s valued clients, and he’s glad to be back. “Five years ago, I was also here for Christmas.
I am thankful to Mr. Laus for inviting me to come here again and share my music to everyone.

This year is actually my 50th year as a recording artist, and I couldn’t be more thankful for all the blessings given to me,” he said. LausGroup chairman and chief executive officer Levy Laus noted that the year-end concert is one of the company’s ways of giving heartfelt thanks for a whole year of bountiful blessings and feats. In his message to the customers, he relayed: “It is in this spirit that I gladly welcome our customers tonight to this concert ‘Love and Christmas’ with Jose Mari Chan. This is an important tradition in the LausGroup because you are an important part of our corporate and business life. Truly, we could not have gone this far without your wholehearted trust, confidence, and loyalty in us. You have always gifted us by believing in us.”

Laus added that he wishes everyone a joyous holiday: “We hope and look forward to happier Christmases in the lives of our valued customers and stakeholders.
Jean Hannapel, a proud LausGroup customer who came all the way from Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija, shared that she enjoyed the LausGroup’s special yuletide treat.
